New Jerusalem

Rebirth of An Ancient African Civilization

CHAPTER III

"The Quakers, Amish, John Africa
And The Seven Spirits of God"

REVELATION 5:6

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are The Seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

REVELATION 21:1-2

“And I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
“And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

  1. As indicated by the first above verse, the purpose of this Chapter is to develop a picture of the platform from which the message of the Lamb of God will be sent forth into all the earth via the Seven Spirits of God, or the seven mental attributes of God—with the works of the twenty-four elders being the actual foundation upon which this platform is erected.

    a. The schools of thought and systems of beliefs introduces into the New World by the Quakers, Amish, John Africa and other such groups and individuals somehow associated with the city of Philadelphia with be quite instrumental in erecting such a platform.

    b. The purpose of sending the message of the Lamb of God into all the earth is to gather together men and women of all races, creeds, colors, national and geographical origins, and religious persuasions to take part in restoring the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia.

    i. Thus the elder that spoke in Revelation 5:5 today would be none other than Haile Selassie.

II. Also as indicated by the second two above verses, the restoration of this Most High order of civilization will come in a form that gives new meaning to the spiritual concepts of heaven and earth.

    a. Such new spiritual concepts of heaven and earth are essential to making the restoration of this ancient civilization functional in this age of such extremely advance science and technology.

    i. Thus an ancient African civilization that was once known as Pe and Ethiopia will be restored under the name New Jerusalem—with Philadelphia most likely being its capital city.

III. While the primary metaphysical function of the Church of Philadelphia today is to serve as the government of New Jerusalem, the city of Philadelphia represents the location of its capital city.

    a. Philadelphia means “city of brotherly love,” and the “love” in the name Philadelphia comes from the Greek word phileo.

    i. In the Greek language there were three main types of love: eros, phileo, and agape.

    1. Eros is the most selfish and immature form of love.

    a. If people mature physically without learning to mature in love, their eros relationships are based solely upon physical attraction and self-gratification.

    b. They care little or nothing about other people and will violate the rights of others whenever it suits them.

    2. Phileo is the kind of love a child learns in relating to their siblings, wherein siblings learn to respect each other’s property and space, and thereby learn the basic principles of justice and fairness.

    a. Therefore, phileo is a judicial type of love that defines basic human rights and responsibilities.

    b. As such a judicial type of love, phileo is the spiritual force that empowers the Church of Philadelphia to serve as the government of New Jerusalem.

    3. Agape is a spiritually mature love that is unselfish, forgiving, understanding, and unconditional, but not free of discipline.

    a. Here it is also important to note that, in New Jerusalem, true love (agape love) is defined as not being a feeling or an emotion, but rather an intelligence and a discipline.

    b. Because agape is considered to be an understanding love, we should take a look at the relationship between the Spirit of Understanding and love as a discipline—in regards to the Seven Spirits of God being sent forth into all the earth to gather together certain spiritual-minded people.

    i. The Spirit of Understanding is the intelligence that gives man the sense and the soul of man the power to know how, why, and upon whom or what to apply the powers of love and faith.

ii. Such understanding will prove to be vital in the efforts to gather together people who would take part in restoring the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization under the name New Jerusalem.

    c. While phileo empowers the Church of Philadelphia to serve as the government of New Jerusalem, agape is the force (or intelligence) behind the Seven Spirits of God being sent into all the earth to gather together those who will bring forth New Jerusalem.

IV. As a master student of the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia, and of the three great faith born out of the Gospel of Heru: the Hebrew faith, the Messianic faith, and the Masonic faith, Joseph became a master of both phileo and agape love.

    a. As it has already been stated, phileo is the type of love learning by siblings in relating to each other, and agape is a very forgiving kind of love.

    i. The judicial love and unconditional love and forgiveness that Joseph discipline to show his brothers, even after they had sold him to an illegal adoption ring of Ishmaelites, was a classic demonstration of both phileo and agape love.

    1. Remember, in the Most High order of spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia, the focus was on forgiveness and redemption rather than on punishment.

    2. The fact that Joseph was able to discipline himself to demonstrate such love as a result of becoming a master student of Pe and the three faiths born out of the Gospel of Heru is clear evidence that true love is an intelligence and a discipline rather than a feeling or an emotion.

    b. Here it is important to note that Joseph achieved such mastery under the reign of a king (King Khufu) who prohibited organized religion within his dominion in favor of allowing Joseph institute in Egypt many of the social elements of Pe he learned about as a result of his studies

. i. One of the most notable social elements of Pe that Joseph instituted in Egypt was a communal life-style governed by the principles of true communism, wherein all resources are shared equally among the people, true brotherhood at it Most High order of existence. c. Khufu was wise in prohibiting organized religion within domain of his reign; for it led to the world’s greatest wonder, the Great Pyramid, being built in his honor.

    i. The Great Pyramid, as great as it is, is no doubt just a small example off the greatest a Most High order of spiritualist civilization can achieved when organized religion is not allowed to get in the way.

IV. Since it conception, Philadelphia has held within its domain some key elements of the three great faiths born out of the Gospel of Heru: the Hebrew faith, the Messianic faith, and the Masonic faith.

    a. The establishment of America in the city of Philadelphia was an attempt by the people to establish a phileo-Christian government.

    i. The problem with that is the fact that Christianity is an organized religion, and there are some rather distinct and rather serious differences between an organized religion and a spiritualist civilization governed by a spiritual-minded government.

ii. Combining the best of these three great faiths to form a true phileo-government (or a true Philadelphia-government) without promoting any particular organized religion would have been the right thing to do.

    1. The whole world shares some sort of commonality that involves the essence of these three great faiths—especially in the case of the original Hebrew faith, which was all about recognizing the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man being one and the same on earth.

    a. As common as such an idea is among all humanity, the essence of the faith got lost as a result of efforts to defend an organized religion called Judaism against obvious and indisputable truth.

iii. More often than not, the very nature of organized religion is anti-phileo.

    i. Leo Tolstoy, one of today’s twenty-four elders, defined the Kingdom of God as being the kingdom of love and truth—a Most High order of spiritualist civilization governed by a phileo-government—with the process through which truth is established being the means of legislation. ii. In New Jerusalem, without promoting any particular organized religion, and without feeling any need to defend New Jerusalem against any obvious and indisputable truth, the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man are defined as being one and the same. iii. On the other hand, when people join an organized religion, they inherently feel obligated to defend their religion—even against obvious and indisputable truth. 1. In such an environment, the defense of the organized religion is primary and the defense of human rights, the establishment of basic principles of justice and fairness, and the acceptance of human responsibilities towards each other all becomes secondary. 3. Therefore, the establishment of a phileo-Christian government is certainly not the way to go if we truly hope to establish a Most High order of spiritualist civilization that is truly conducive to humanity achieving the Most High civilized state of being. V. This age of extremely advanced science and technology is not without rejection by some spiritual-minded groups.

    a. While most people see this age of extremely advanced science and technology as the advancement of civilization, there are a few spiritual-minded groups who see it as a threat to a much higher order of spiritualist civilization.

    i. Two such groups are the Amish and an organization founded by John Africa called MOVE.

    1. Both groups might be best described as spiritualists/naturalists organizations.

    2. Both groups have a strong relationship with the city of Philadelphia, a city many consider to have been the United States’ first capital city—despite the fact that congress first met in New York City for several years after the Constitution was ratified.

    a. Thus the history of Philadelphia provides some understanding of what type of spiritual atmosphere gave rise to two such groups.

ii. While the Amish are a more practical example of a spiritualists/naturalists organization, MOVE is a much more radical and even bizarre example—with unsanitary practices that actually made it a health threat to its neighbors.

    1. Though on a much smaller scale, some of the unsanitary practices of MOVE made it as guilty of poisoning the earth and its atmosphere as those they were fighting against for poisoning the earth and its atmosphere with chemical, industrial, and nuclear waste.

    2. Just as chemical, industrial, and nuclear waste can make portions of the earth uninhabitable for humans, the unsanitary practices of MOVE threaten to ultimately make the neighborhood in which it existed uninhabitable also.

    a. Being such a threat to its neighbors made MOVE totally ineffective in promoting any genuine concept of the true brotherhood of man.

    b. Nevertheless, not all the teachings of John Africa were without merit.

VI. What were the merits of John Africa teaching MOVE members that they should all have one common surname, which was Africa?

    a. Using the surname Africa had nothing at all to do with the group’s interest in Pan-African affairs, nor any “Back to Africa” movements such as that of Marcus Garvey.

    b. The surname Africa was chosen because the continent's natural simplicity symbolizes the group's natural lifestyle, and the fact that it is the continent where all life began.

    i. All human beings cannot be classified as Asians, Europeans, Australian Aborigines, or Native Americans.

ii. However, with Africa being the place of origin for human life and the evolution of all the races thereof, all human beings can indeed be classified as being Africans.

    1. Humanity’s acceptance of this truth can indeed be the greatest ideological or philosophical tool in establishing the Kingdom of God on earth and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man on earth as them being one and the same on earth.

    2. With Africa also being the place of origin for the Most High order of spiritualist civilization, humanity’s acceptance of this truth would also validate need to restore the ancient African spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia as New Jerusalem—the most major highlight in the Spiritual Evolution of Man thus far.

    a. Thus we can conclude that at least one of John Africa’s teachings was totally consistent with the True Spirit of Philadelphia—the spirit of people of all creeds, religious persuasions, races, colors, and of all national and geographical places of origin coming together to build the greatest civilization (or nation) on earth.

    b. Because all these things are to take place in what is commonly called the New World, it is described in Revelation 21:1-2 as the making of a new heaven and earth, which also mean new concepts of heaven and earth that are more compatible with this new age of science and technology.

VII. Because the Declaration of Independence was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia, the city of Philadelphia is also called the birth place of the nation.

VIII. With William Penn, a Quaker, as its founding father, Philadelphia was the first great battleground in America’s distorted version of the war between spiritualist civilization and materialist civilization.

    a. America’s version of this war is recognized as being distorted because no true spiritualist civilization would ever entertain the idea of allowing a specific organized religion to serve as the official state religion, which was the case with Christianity in various states in the earliest history of the United States as a nation.

    i. Yet the founding fathers of the Constitution must have understood this when drafting the very First Amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights, which reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

    b. In Philadelphia’s war between spiritualist civilization and materialist civilization, certain groups of Quakers refused to have any religious labels applied to their faith.

    i. These were obviously some of the few Americans who have ever understood the difference between politics, organized religion, and the spiritualist civilization of humanity.

ii. They were obviously among the very few people who understood how a government could be spiritual without respecting an establishment of organized religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

    c. Even John Africa’s MOVE organization, which started out as The American Christian Movement for Life, ultimately ceased to identify itself with any form of organized religion—including Christianity.

    d. While Philadelphia is also known as the “City of Brotherly Love,” the Quakers are also known as the Religious Society of Friends.

    i. Therefore, many of the spiritual elements that went into the development of the original Hebrew faith were present in the city of Philadelphia.

    1. Remember, the original Hebrew faith was the faith of a people who had faith that they could establish the kingdom of Heru on earth as the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man being one and the same on earth.

ii. On October 2, 2006, a heavily armed gunman entered an Amish schoolhouse in Paradise, Pennsylvania and killed five girls and critically wounded six other (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/10/02/amish.shooting/index.html).

    1. The reaction of the Amish community was forgiveness.

    a. That is another element that went into the development of the original Hebrew faith that is still a part of the True Spirit of Philadelphia.

    b. The original Hebrew faith grew out of the conflict between Cain and Abel (or Set and Horus, or Meru and Ab-ru), for which it has been written that one brother murdered the other.

    i. Instead of punishment, the father worked out a plan of redemption whereby the one son could be forgiven for his sins against the other.

ii. The plan of redemption meant that the one son has to establish the father’s kingdom among races of people other than is own.

iii. The father’s kingdom had to be established as the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man being one and the same, which actually describes the original Hebrew faith.

iv. Therefore, as elements of the original Hebrew faith, redemption and forgiveness are also elements of a Most High order of spiritualist civilization, and the Amish are a living testimony thereof.

iii. Therefore, as representatives of the True Spirit of Philadelphia, the Quakers developed a spiritual atmosphere in Philadelphia in which spiritualists/naturalists groups like the Amish and the positive aspects of John Africa’s MOVE organization could flourish.

    e. There is also a Society of Friends in Ethiopia known as the Society of Friends of the Institute of Ethiopian Studies.

    i. The Institute of Ethiopian Studies (IES), is housed in Emperor Haile Selassie's former palace, on the main campus of Addis Ababa University.

    1. There the Society of Friends appears to have developed great respect Selassie as well as for the Rastafarian community, which can also be classified as a spiritualists/ naturalists community.

    a. As a spiritualists/naturalists community, the Rastafarian community holds within its domain many of those who are identified in Revelation 9:1-11 as locusts that came up out of the bottomless pit—the bottomless actually being a bottomless pit of lies and falsehoods.

    b. Another such spiritualists/naturalists community is found among Hebrew Israelites.

ii. This particular Society of Friends has traditionally been quite instrumental in helping the Institute of Ethiopian Studies pursue and realize its objectives.

    1. Their services to the Institute include: encouraging public support for the Institute, organizing lectures and exhibitions, organizing fund raising events to support the Museum and Library and to make important acquisitions.

iii. In many ways their relationship with the library and museum at the Institute of Ethiopian Studies is concurrent to the relationship that existed between members of the Masonic faith and the Great Pyramid.

    1. Though Joseph introduced a form of communism in Egypt that eliminated the need for fund raisers to finance the cost of building the Great Pyramid, there still was a need to gain public support, conduct lectures on the purpose and importance of such a monument, and to acquire the literary works, works of art, and treasures that would be placed in the Great Pyramid.

    2. In the case of the Great Pyramid, the men made responsible for carrying out those duties were generally members of the Masonic faith—such as the priest of I-em-hetep of Imhotep, the builder of the step-pyramid in Saqqarah.

IX. Prince Hall, the father of free masonry for African people in the United States, might very well be one of the twenty-four elders of today.

    a. Free masonry began for African people and people of African descent on March 6, 1775, when Prince Hall and fourteen other free black men were initiated into Military Lodge No. 441.

    i. Military Lodge No. 441 was an integrated Lodge attached to the British Army via an Irish Constitution., and stationed in Boston.

ii. When the British Army left Boston in 1776, Lodge, No 441, granted Prince Hall and his brethren authority to meet as African Lodge #1 (Under Dispensation).

    1. Being under dispensation meant that the members of African Lodge #1 could go in procession on St. John's Day, and bury their dead; but they could not confer degrees nor perform any other Masonic functions.

iii. On March 2, 1784, Prince Hall petitioned the Grand Lodge of England, through a Worshipful Master of a subordinate Lodge in London for a warrant or charter.

    1. The Worshipful Master was William Moody of Brotherly Love Lodge No. 55.

    2. Once again the True Spirit of Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, enters the picture.

iv. On September 29, 1784, Hall and his brethren were granted a charter by the Premier Grand Lodge of England in 1784 as African Lodge No. 459.

    1. However, due to communications problems, did not receive the actual charter until April 29, 1787, and African Lodge No. 459 was organized one week later, May 6, 1787.

    b. The question of extending African Masonry arose when Absalom Jones of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania appeared in Boston.

    i. He was an ordained Episcopal priest and a mason who was interested in establishing a Masonic lodge in Philadelphia.

    c. Under the authority of the charter of African Lodge #459, Prince Hall established African Lodge #459 of Philadelphia on March 22, 1797.

    d. In addition to the True Spirit of Philadelphia having within its domain the elements that went into the development of the Hebrew faith, it now held within its domain the elements that went into the development of the Masonic faith.

    i. Of the three great faiths born out of the Gospel of Heru, the only one left to be secured within the True Spirit of Philadelphia is the Messianic faith.

    X. Though quite distorted and full of the plagues that come with adding lies, corruption, and unrighteousness to the books of prophecy, Father Divine and the International Peace Mission movement bring to Philadelphia elements of the Messianic faith.

XI. How do we gather together all the elements of the three great faiths that were born out of the Gospel of Heru to function within the True Spirit of Philadelphia and restore the Most High order of Ancient African spiritualist civilization under the name New Jerusalem?

    a. The answer to which should give us a rather clear understanding of the type of foundation the Lamb of God would stand upon today when the Seven Spirits of God into all the earth to gather together people of all races, creeds, colors, and national and geographical origins to take part in such an endeavor—understanding that the Book of Revelation is actually a “Road Map” to the restoration of this Most High order of civilization.

    i. Furthermore, what we have thus far learned about the Quakers (the Religious Society of Friends), the Amish, John Africa, Prince Hall, Father Divine, the Rastafarian and Hebrew Israelite communities, etc. should give us a picture of that foundation today—in a new concept of heaven and earth, which allows this Most High order of Ancient African civilization to function in this age of such extremely advanced science and technology.

ii. This is also the foundation upon which the works of today’s twenty-four elders will be erected.

    1. Remember, the twenty-four elders today are men and women whose works are vital to restoring the Most High order of ancient African civilization in such a way that it can be completely functional in such an age of extremely advance science and technology.

    b. The only way such an endeavor can be achieved is through the proper implementation of the Seven Spirits of God (or the seven mental attributes of God).

    i. Remember, the first two of the Seven Spirits of God are the Spirit of Knowledge and the Spirit of Love respectively.

    1. While the Spirit of Knowledge is the mental substance associated with the state or fact of knowing, the Spirit of Love is the mental substance that holds the universe together until the Word of God, the Will of God, and the Works of God are all fulfilled.

    a. Thus is the importance of Philadelphia as the city of brotherly love, a place and/or a condition whereby people and things can be held together until a mission is fulfilled.

XII. Today we find that spiritualists/naturalists groups like the Amish, MOVE, and members of the Rastafarian and Hebrew Israelite communities are very concern that an age of such extremely advances science and technology will ultimately lead humankind to self-destruction.

    a. When we consider the huge amounts of chemical waste, industrial waste, and nuclear waste that are pumped into the earth’s atmosphere and into the earth itself each year, coupled with the possibility of a nuclear war, their concerns are not at all unjustified.

    i. Such self-destructive behavior is certainly not the hallmark of a very high order of civilization, but rather evidence of how the material lust and greed of materialist civilization ultimately becomes a threat to all its citizens.

ii. Those who would destroy the earth with such poison or such a war are described in Revelation 11:18 as just that, “them which destroy the earth.”

    1. Once again the Seven Spirits of God (or the seven mental attributes of God, must be employed to bring forth solutions to this problem as elements of a Most High order of spiritualist civilization.

    a. Thereby, as it is written in Revelation 11:18, the saints and prophets of God will be given rewards for their efforts to establish spiritualist civilization as the common salvation of both man and the earth.

    2. Thus New Jerusalem, the restoration of the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization, contains a plan to deal with such issues.

    3. In Daniel 7:22, the prophet Daniel describes the solution as being a matter of the kingdom (the civilization) being entrusted into the hands of the saints of the Most High.

    a. The kingdom being entrusted into the hands of the saints is also concurrent to what is written in Revelation 11:18 concerning the saints and prophets of God being given rewards.

XIII. Nevertheless, commonsense tells us that science and technology are here to stay.

    a. With neither side being all wrong or all right, a wise spiritualist civilization would definitely find a way to build bridges between its scientific communities and its spiritualists/naturalists communities.

    i. Building such bridges is indeed another function of New Jerusalem.

XIV. In building bridges between the scientific world and the world of spiritualists/naturalists, New Jerusalem must obviously focus its attention on the Seven Spirits of God, or the seven mental attributes of the Mind of God, who, with a spiritualistic scientific mind, did indeed create nature (Revelation 5:6).

    a. Whether through nuclear war of the poisoning of the earth and its atmosphere, the scientific world now have it in its power to destroy all life on earth as it is now known.

    i. Thus the building of such bridges is more vitally important than most people recognized.

    b. There has to be some way to develop a mutual understanding of Creation and the scientific Mind responsible for it.

    i. Two opposing groups void of any mutual understanding will have very little or no respect at all for each other’s point of view.

ii. To gain the respect of the scientific world, the spiritualists/naturalists must learn to speak to the scientist in his or her own language.

    c. As it has already been revealed in Chapter I, The Spiritual Evolution of Man, the Spirit of Knowledge was the dominant creative force in the very First Day of Creation.

    i. Intelligence provides us with the capacity to apply and make use of knowledge as well as to acquire additional knowledge.

    d. The dominant creative force in the Second Day of Creation was the Spirit of Love.

    i. Born out of the Spirit of Love is the greatest intelligence of all, the mental ability to love others as we love ourselves.

    1. The mental ability to love others as we love ourselves is considered the greatest intelligence of all because it is our only assurance that knowledge will always be used sustain and protect life as opposed the destroying life.

    a. There is nothing on earth more important than the preservation and protection of life.

    2. Furthermore, the mental ability to love others as we love ourselves is considered the greatest intelligence of all because it is the only means by which we can achieve our Most High civilized state of being, and fulfill the True Spirit of Philadelphia.
