New Jerusalem
Rebirth of An Ancient African Civilization
CHAPTER II
"Most High Order of Spiritualist
Civilization vs. Organized Religion"
- In the beginning of the Spiritual Evolution of Man there was no such thing as an organized religion—just societies seeking to establish some sort of civilized state of being based upon human relationship with the Divine.
a. The idea of humanity achieving its Most High civilized state of being through human relationship with the Divine gave birth to the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia.
i. Nevertheless, from the birth of organized religion until now, humankind has had great difficulty drawing a distinct line between spiritualist civilization and organized religion.
ii. As the restoration of Pe, another function of New Jerusalem is to draw a distinct line between spiritualist civilization and organized religion.
II. Both spiritualist civilization and organized religion are of the same proposition that the moral concepts and behavior of humankind should be governed by human relationship with the Divine.
a. That is one of the primary reasons why humankind has found it so difficult to draw a distinct line between spiritualist civilization and organized religion.
i. The founding fathers of the Constitution of the United States tried to successfully deal with this issue in the very First Amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights.
1. The First Amendment reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
a. That in no way meant that Congress must no longer believe that moral concepts and human behavior should derive from human relationship with the Divine and make laws reflecting such a belief.
b. In taking advantage of the shortcomings of an organized religion such as Christianity, secular society interpreted the First Amendment to meant thus that, and the provision in the First Amendment concerning Congress and religion became known as “the separation of church and state—though no such separation is written anywhere in the Constitution.
b. However, organized religion develops its precepts and doctrines from the narrow point of view of one particular religion.
i. Thus the authority of an organized religion should not go beyond an individual’s personal relationship with the Divine.
1. Therefore, half-truth can be fully acceptable in organized religion—requiring nothing more than the acceptance of a given individual.
c. On the other hand, must develop its precepts and doctrines much more comprehensive points of view based upon more universal truth that must be accepted by the whole or an over whelming majority of reasonable and well educated or well informed men and woman as indisputable and undeniable truth.
i. Thus, unlike organized religion, spiritualist civilization is not at liberty to exploit the ignorance of its members, but rather is compelled to employ only the intelligence of it citizens.
d. As a civilization founded by people in search of a place of religion freedom from the precepts and doctrines established by organized religion in Europe, the United States was to be a true spiritualist civilization in principle.
i. Because the founders still identified themselves as members of the organized religion called Christianity, they failed to be in practice what they had hoped to be in principle.
1. Instead of a spiritualist civilization, the United States became the world’s most notorious materialist civilization.
2. Even contrary to popular belief, Abraham Lincoln’s primary reason for engaging in civil war was not to free the slaves because he viewed the United States as being nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, but rather because he wanted the United States to become first in the Industrial Revolution.
a. How could America become first in the Industrial Revolution while groups of Southerns were still making use of free slave labor, and requiring far less mechanization industry than the north?
III. John Hendrix Clarke is without a doubt one of our greatest champions in drawing a distinct line between spiritualist civilization and organized religion.
a. With the Book of Revelation being a “Road Map” to restoring Pe (or Ethiopia) as New Jerusalem and making it compatible to our modern age, the twenty-four elders written of in the Book of Revelation today would be twenty-four men and women whose works are vital to such restoration.
i. When we consider what a true champion John Hendrix Clarke truly is in draw a line of distinction between spiritualist civilization and organized religion, he becomes one of the most easily recognized members of the twenty-four elders.
ii. In hoping of planning a strategy against the invasion of European and Indo-European religions such Judaism, Christianity, and Islam into Africa, John Hendrix Clarke asked the question, “How did African people determine right and wrong before these religions appeared in Africa?”
iii. In search of ways and means to transform African spirituality into an instrument of liberation, John Hendrix Clarke asked the question, “How do we understand that we can be religious without being spiritual and be spiritual without belonging to any religion?”
1. These two questions alone are clear evidence of just how vital the works of John Hendrix Clarke will prove to be in the restoration of the Most High order of ancient African spiritualist civilization called Pe and Ethiopia.
2. We can only hope and pray that he will be able to see New Jerusalem manifest the answers to his questions from his seat in the Kingdom of Heaven.
a. After all, the Book of Revelation tells us that the twenty-four elders cast their crowns (as in crowns of knowledge) before the throne of God.
